We are not going to write about the budget and other expenders because it depends on youк tastes and it is very simply to calculate.
Find out what information your school offers. Find out whether your school offers additional information for students who are planning to study, Try to find information on any travel benefits for students (e.g. how to save money on transportation and accommodations, and other resources.)
DOCUMENTS DOCUMENTS DOCUMENTS!
Apply early for your passport and, if necessary, any visas. Passports are required to enter and/or depart most countries around the world. Such a simple advice, but such a necessary one. Check with the embassy of the foreign country that you are planning to visit for up-to-date visa and other entry requirements. You will be confused by the quantity and variety of different visas for different countries. Don’t be scared. You just need a student visa. It is a minimum which is necessary for applying to any university.
To get visa is impossible without some documents from university, which you are going to study in (admissions, invitations ect). You have to be in constantly connection with all chosen universities. It could be a little hard and annoying. People whose responsibility to lead potential students in universities can forget to reply you. Occasionally they should answer during 1-2 days, and if they are not it is a sign to look for help from the company, which can provide this service to you. Your communicating should be actual, in other case you will have a big risk to exceed all your DDL and university will not take any responsibility of that failure.
Check for travel warnings and Public Announcements. Explore all the rules and news of you future country, but don’t get lost in unnecessary things. Concentrate on your tourist’s position.
Explore the country.
On the way to your vivid memories and impressions you have to prepare your consciousness for some new issues. Put simply, think about:
1.What do you expect from the country?
2.What did you hear about the county from different sides? Will you manage to live and to balance between all the minuses and pluses you heard about?
3.What do you expect from the course you decided to apply?
4.Which accommodations and expenditures are acceptable for you?
I advise you to think seriously about the culture you are going to live in more than several months, this life is worn out. Better to choose some optimal/common: the country with normal climate, great variety of food the places of interests, which will attract you ect.
Take some time to better familiarize yourself with your study abroad country. By knowing even briefly your soon-to-be home’s culture, history, geography, economy, government — everything! Your study abroad experience will be enriched and your time spent more meaningful.
Occasionally, agents or consulting companies lead people from the step of getting decisions till the graduation. The representatives are in each country and city, who can arrange all the documents and the latest information about university and its departments.
