The university is famous for its scientific schools, famous scientists, highly professional teachers, educational traditions. Diplomas of the University are recognized in more than 100 countries. HNADU has a high international rating, participates in international projects and programs, cooperates with 65 foreign partners. Scientists, teachers and students of HNADU constantly participate in European and international programs TEMPUS, ERASMUS, FULBRIGHT, DAAD, go to foreign universities for study, for joint research, lecturing, internships, advanced training.

Particular attention is given to the computer training of foreign students at the university. It is conducted in 60 computer classes, a special educational portal has been created, where all methodical and scientific information materials on the studied disciplines are stored electronically, modern software products such as Autocad, Mathlab, INVENTOR, VISSUM, etc. are widely used in educational and engineering calculations. The university is a strategic partner of the American company Autodesk, following the results of regular participation and victories of the student team of HNADU in the international competitions of the company for computer modeling.
The German-Ukrainian Center is established and successfully functioning at the university, where Ukrainian and foreign students study German and English languages, get acquainted with the culture, history and traditions of Germany. In addition, students are constantly consulted, trained, master classes, after which they travel abroad and participate in international programs and projects, internships, competitions, conferences in Germany and other European countries.

HNADU students and foreign students can take part in the program of double diplomas with leading European (Polish, Swiss) universities. The university has created and successfully operates centers for the practical training of students on the basis of modern equipment of the world’s most famous companies: American – HAAS, German – BOSCH, KREDO-Center – for automated design of highways and highways, etc. For more than 50 years, the University has been operating a high-speed car laboratory, where students after practice, in practice, use the theoretical knowledge obtained in classrooms and create unique models of record-racing cars, participate in national and international sports competitions (2010-2016 SCHELL-eco-phone, Formula E8, etc.). The educational buildings and student hostels of the university are located in the center of the city.
