I certainly enjoy freedom in Ukraine. Unlike other post-Soviet countries, Ukrainians live more democratic – people think differently and have different approaches to situations. And although many people say that it is a mess, in fact – it is the foundation of democracy.
I also like the weather in Kiev, and beautiful Ukrainian women. Anyway, Ukraine is very beautiful. This is the most potential country in Europe – natural resources, people, geographical location, lack of natural disasters – there is no other country like that.
Peter Dickinson, chief editor of publications Business Ukraine and Lviv Today
I like the habit of Ukrainian passengers to applaud during takeoff and landing. I’ve never seen anything like this in other countries, although it is the most sensible and natural thing. As for me, the applause has a certain sincerity and innocence. Although now the applause sounds less and less, I hope, the Ukrainians will never part with this habit.
Maurizio Aschero, Executive Officer of Millya Group Cyprus
Courage, patience, strength and generosity of Ukrainians are admirable to me. I remember last year during the Russian invasion [15 July] there was an accident in the Moscow metro with lots of victims. Then, many Ukrainians brought flowers to the Russian Embassy, spending their last money on them.
I also like the culture, courtesy and the desire of Ukrainians to improve the situation. And I am 1.000 % sure that Ukraine will soon become one of the leaders in Europe and the world. Too many outstanding personalities are fighting for a better future of this country. Defeat is not possible!
Michael Willard, president of the international PR-agency The Willard Group, political analyst
In Ukraine, I like most of all its potential. It has everything to become a great nation – from natural resources to the educated population with self-confidence, as the revolution showed.
Bernard Willem, consultant of the farm Chevrette (trademark Fromages d’Elise)
I like the geographical position of Ukraine, the richness of its land and subsoil. And a favorable climate for agriculture, and a large area. In addition, there are prospects and opportunities to create new enterprises.
Aretha Kovalska, blogger, translator
I like Lvov, in which I live. This is an extraordinarily beautiful city with beautiful architecture, interesting and diverse history. It is a city of culture, art and live music.
And in general, it is now interesting to live in Ukraine, to monitor all the changes, to see how the country is developing, how traditions are flourishing together with the modern culture. And Lvov is an excellent example of a city, which combines modernity and tradition.
